Box / Full-Frame Installation
Full opening replacement — frame removed, framing exposed, new box unit set.

When the work order specifies full-frame or box install and existing frame cannot be preserved.

Steps

- Verify measurements and site prep complete.
- Remove existing unit and frame per AVW demo standard.
- Inspect exposed framing — repair rot or damage before setting.
- Install moisture barrier / flashing per method.
- Dry-fit box unit — check level, plumb, square.
- Shim with laminated flat trim on bottom — not wood.
- Secure box to framing.
- Seal and flash exterior (see Exterior Finish).
- Complete interior finish.
